HangulHub collects the following information to provide and improve our services.

• Name Generator: English name you enter, selected gender/style/meaning tags, generated Korean names (stored for service statistics)
• Automatically collected: Browser type, pages visited, access time (Vercel Analytics)
• Advertising: Cookies may be used by Google AdSense to serve personalized ads

• Statistical analysis for service improvement

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Name generator usage data is stored on our servers for service statistics and improvement. Collected data is stored in a form that cannot directly identify individuals and may be deleted as needed after annual statistical analysis.

8. Event Winners (Prize Delivery)

We do not collect any additional personal information from users who simply take part in HangulHub events such as the Hangul Day event. Treasure hunt finds are stored against the account you are logged in to (to show your collection and confirm completion); finds made before logging in are stored only in your browser.

Only from prize winners, we collect the minimum information needed to send the prize (for example, recipient name, contact details and delivery address), and only after informing you separately and obtaining your consent.

• Purpose: sending the prize and confirming receipt (not used for any other purpose)
• Retention and deletion: deleted without delay once the prize has been sent, except where retention is required by law, in which case only for the required period.
• Third parties: only the information necessary for delivery may be passed to the courier or shipping provider.
• Refusing consent: you may decline, but in that case we cannot send the prize and the win may be cancelled.
